Being a recording studio in Boston, we got tired of seeing artists struggle to fund their next record and decided things needed to change. With our team’s experience as producers, musicians and marketers, we realized we could create a better way for artists to fund & record music.

We fund every part of the recording process for you, from travel and lodging, to studio magic. Our system works, and because of that, you’ll have zero expenses along the way. Here’s how we do it:
The Single
Plaid Dog starts every artist off with the resources to record a professional single and promo video. Get your supporters excited about your campaign by giving them a taste of what’s to come.
The Campaign
Our crowdfunding team works with you to provide expert marketing and support to help you run a successful campaign. Unlike sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo, Plaid Dog doesn’t charge any platform fees, so we can put more funds back into your project.
The Album
Once the campaign wraps, we get back into studio to record your album! Our studio works with artists from all over the US. We cover travel expenses and provide free lodging for artists who aren’t local to the Boston area.
